Bloodbound Event # 1

Following the conclusion of the festive pumpkin celebrations, the arrival of Dia de los Muertos ushered in our inaugural Official Bloodbound Event. On October 25th, Sketchy Realms launched Bloodbound via Steam and has since remained committed to delivering consistent updates. The development team’s unwavering dedication has long been centered on fortifying the game’s foundation. Now, with its successful release, our focus shifts to uniting our established community and extending a warm welcome to new players.

On November 2nd, Sketchy Realms hastily assembled our veteran slayers and vampires for the battlefield. Despite the spontaneous and last-minute preparations, our first event unfolded seamlessly. While encountering initial technical challenges, notably related to hosting issues and a few bugs, the game swiftly regained its momentum, hosting intense matches throughout the night.

For those who haven’t yet joined our Discord (links provided below), we’ve recently established an “Events” section. This catalog showcases announcements for upcoming events, a calendar displaying scheduled times across various time zones, a dedicated thread for sharing recaps, screenshots, and more. Moreover, during ongoing events, we introduced a voice channel to facilitate player interaction on the server.

Think of these events as an exclusive trial run, offering a firsthand experience of Bloodbound during Early Access. Participants provide valuable feedback, report bugs, and express any concerns following each event. The turnout for our last event was exceptional, necessitating an extension of the server by five extra slots to accommodate more players. Attendees arrived from Discord and others swiftly joined after purchasing the game. Some even shared their personal clips and screenshots of the intense matches.

The matches were nothing short of intense, featuring heated battles between Vampires and Slayers, reminiscent of a chase between cats and mice. As each match commenced, the distinctive sounds of Slayers arming themselves resonated, while the sight of Vampires swiftly navigating the Blood Avenue streets spelled trouble. The turnout for the last-minute event was unexpected, but it was evident that attendees genuinely relished their time playing the game. Donโ€™t just take my word for it; explore this comprehensive compilation showcasing the highlights of Bloodbound Event #1.

On behalf of the entire Sketchy Realms Team, we extend our sincere gratitude to everyone continually supporting us from inception to completion. Stay tuned for future events, coming your way soon.
